Here’s a fun Friday video to share. Hardware maker LG is looking to play up the tagline for its new line of IPS monitors: “So real, it’s scary.”

LG’s marketing team came up with an almost too-cruel prank involving unsuspecting elevator riders and a fake-floor gag. It’s an interesting variation of the customer testimonial – except in this case, the prank victims “testify” by freaking out on hidden camera.

Not many companies have an opportunity to market their products by terrifying complete strangers. But it’s a pretty cool tactic if you ever get the opportunity to do something similar with your content marketing.
