The 4th Annual B2B Content2Conversion Conference wrapped up on Feb. 18 and it was great to see how it has evolved over the past four years to meet the growing needs of the content marketing industry, while still providing an actionable path to success for all marketing professionals — regardless of their maturity.
With over 450 B2B marketers in attendance, #C2C15 brought in more than 100 registrants than last year’s conference. And, with over 40 sessions featuring some of the most influential speakers and thought leaders in content marketing, demand generation and sales enablement. Speakers from industry trailblazers, such as SiriusDecisions, Forrester and Marketo, shared insightful research, proven methodologies, new technologies and actionable takeaways on how marketers can better target, engage and convert prospects into customers.
Demand Gen Report recognized leaders in content marketing strategies and campaigns is by presenting them with a Killer Content Award. This year DGR received more than 100 nominations — a 20% increase from last year — and since its inception, the Killer Content Awards SlideShare has received nearly 58,000 views. Here are some other highlights from #C2C15 that are sure to whet your content marketing appetite for #C2C16:
- What’s Your Number? Content4Demand helped attendees identify the maturity of their current content practices by using a new matrix tool, the Content Maturity Model. Not only did it give B2B marketers the opportunity to brag about their content score, but provided them with specific goals to achieve that will raise the effectiveness of their content marketing investments.
- My Funny (Content) Valentine. #C2C15 was named the official Valentine of BlueBird Strategies. But, don’t take my word for it. Check out their 10 reasons for loving #C2C15.
- #C2C15: There’s An App For That! A #C2C15 app, available on both iOS and Android, was created for all conference attendees. Not only did it grant B2B marketers access to daily sessions in real time, it also included an interactive map of the hotel and expo hall “The Solution Zone.” In addition, it allowed registrants to gain an inside scoop on sponsor giveaways and provided them with the ability to participate in relevant polls and surveys. Prizes were given to the most socially active attendees on the conference app. The awards presented were headphones, a wearable activity monitor, a Bluetooth speaker, and an action sports camera.
If you weren’t able to make it to this year’s conference in sunny Scottsdale, AZ, we certainly hope to see you next year as we continue bringing together the top thought leaders and practitioners in both content and demand generation.
